I presently have a dual point system, and a person told me I should try a distributor system called the Dragon Fire, that it has a more eff. system. Has anyone tried this, or any others?

Dragonfire is simply one of the many brands pasted on those ubiquitous, cheap, asian-mfd tach-drive HEI distributors.
That said, they're usually a good value & HEI usually offers a small repeat small performance improvement over points.
IMHO, if your present distributor is doing a good job ... suggest leave it alone.
