Default 1970 Lt-1 Cylinder Head Casting # Confusion
OK, I'm confused, what is the correct casting # for 1970 LT-1 cylinder heads?

The Black Book says 3927186 or 3973414 but I've alss seen reference to 3991492.

So which is numbers correct?

Looks like it might be an over the counter replacement for the LT1 heads.

'68-'72 NCRS Judging guide shows 3927186 for all '70 small-blocks. No mention of the others that you referenced.

NCRS pocket guide shows 3973414 for LT1. No mention of the 1492 anywhere...........

My Corvette by the Numbers book shows 3927186, 3947041 (Used interchangeably throughout 1969 and 1970 production) and 3973414 were all used on 1970 350 370 HP. Casting #3991492 may appear on part 3927186 after 4/5/71 so it is not correct.
