Does anyone have a pic or diag. of the proper ground wire from the motor to the frame? I've done a search and looked on-line but non of the vendors I use show the location, they only show the part.
I currently have a Bubba wire from the intake down to the frame engine mount. I guess they only had 5' red sections avail so he wrapped it around the supension and pwr steering to take up the slack.... I would like to fix this with what appears to be a short wire from the starter to the frame... Just curious to know what bolts and where?
Thanks in advance for the help....
BTW Would an AIM manual cover this level of detail?

Yes, the AIM shows this level of detail. Money well spent.
Gary,
Thank you for the AIM page! I have heard many people tell others to buy the book or CD but this is the first time I have seen the level of detail... I'm sold.
Now the hunt for the cheapest book/CD begins..

Unless you have a computer in your garage, I'd get the paper version. They are only about 20 bucks at most of the Corvette parts suppliers.
Crap! I jsut ordered 2 CD's from Wilcox (67 & 72) but I do have a spare laptop I can take into the man cave...
No problem. Actually, might be better because as long as you have access to a printer, you can print selected, individual pages to carry into the man cave and scribble notes on.
You do have a local printer to hook up to, right? Anymore, they're almost as cheap as the CD.

You're safe; Go for it.
Dustup,
You are 100 percent correct! With the CD version you can print as many pages as you like as many times as you like! No more tearing the pages out of the three ring binders, and no more not being able to see! "ZOOM" I love the zoom of Adobe, it makes a 1/2 blind man see perfect at 200 x.
I got so frustrated with the AIM, I spent the time and made my own index. If you have a 71' or 78', I'll send you what I made. It is an Excel file so you can change it to suit yourself.
On the PDF version, you use the Adobe search function to find what you looking for. The manuals were ran thru an OCR and work real nice.
If you are looking for suspension, you enter that word in the search function and it will find that word in the entire book and put it in a easy scroll index. On the index to the left you can just click on the title and it will take you right to the page.
