Default Tire questions

I am looking to get new tires (235-60-15) on my ride before summer and I don't know what to buy.
YoKohama avid St
or
BF Goodirch TA radial
In the "Tire Rack comparison" they rate the YoKohama much better than the TA in all catigories but I don't know of any one that have used them and of course I know alot of people who have used TA's in fact that is what is on my car now.
I was also wondering what the widest tire I could use on my car with the 15"X8" Wheels and still have clearance to turn

A 235-60-15 will be a little shorter than your original tires. Go for 245 or 255-60's BFG Radial TA's

225/70/15 & 255/60/15 are correct height for accurate speedo.

I have the BFG 255 60 R15 and have no complaints. Also, BF Goodrich is an American company so your money stays at home instead of going overseas to Tokyo.

Not anymore. Goodrich got out of the tire business about 10 years ago. Tires sold under the BF Goodrich name are sold by Michelin North America which I believe is primarily a French company.
