T-5 Transmission Swap
I'm installing a T-5 in a 1975 C-3 Corvette. I have a question about a cable that runs down to the 4 speed tranny. It appears to be a cable attaching to the reverse lock-out. Does this affect the locking steering wheel? What did other members who have done the swap do about this cable?

You don't need to hook that cable up. The cable is an interlock with you ignition key so the car must be in reverse to remove the key. Just set the lever on the column which the cable hooks to so you can remove the key and your all set. Mines been disconnected for 15 years and the lever has never moved.
