I checked my brake fluid today and noticed that one side of the Master Cylinder was full, and one was almost completely empty.
I have not noticed any brake line leaks at all...
What normally causes this? Just a leak? use? Ive never seen one side empty and one side pretty much full. I last checked the fluid level in Feb and they looked about the same then as far as I can remember.
You have a leak somewhere, you should check everything under the hood every week or two.
PG.
Yeah I know.. I always seem to forget about the master cylinder.. I probably would have noticed this earlier.
It was in the rear chamber (towards the back of the car) that it was empty. Which chamber controls which set? That'll speed up the search for the issue.

Thanks.
If it's the rear chamber, it could be the rear seal in the MC leaking the fluid into the booster. Remove the two nuts holding the MC to booster and pull it away from the booster to see if it is leaking.
