hi everyone,
well here i am again with same problem,back in april i picked up a 79 have doing a lot of work on it.just got the air fix but i'm still running over the 220 mark,today i used the air for the first time and the temp went to around 240 whats the problem? i need help,i live in arizona and we have tripple digits i think it might have an effect anyone have suggestins
It would be helpful if you filled out your profile and provided more information. Does it overheat at idle or on highway, have you done any mods to the car, have you made any repairs to the cooling system etc. Overheating can be caused by a number of things including, fan clutch, radiator, timing, shroud and its seals, thermostat, and more. Because there are so many things that can cause overheating more information is always better. You can also gain a lot of information by reading some of the older threads on overheating by doing a search.
