I run one.. It is by far the best running VS carb I ever installed.. Serioulsy, this thing runs and responds like a double pumper off the line and pulls hard with no bog at all.. I had to do a little tuning due to my large cam but it ran great after that.. Out of the box, the 750cfm was just enough to support my healthy 452hp small block and appears to be a perfect match. I have a brand new $600 Mighty Demon carb here but I dont even want to install it because this Summit carb runs so good.

i borrowed one to use until my speed demon came in.

it was taken off of a 350 and put on my 454. a little bogging but otherwise ran great. i am sure it was because of the differences in the engines.

to make adjustments to the carb you have to take the entire top of the carb off like an edelbrock.

it had a front and back power valve. overall during the 3 weeks i was running it i decided it wasnt a bad carb. if i hadnt of already bought the speed demon i probably would have gotten one myself

of course its a square bore vs your qjets spread bore

I have the same combo (summit/2101) and with my big block hood could only use a mini air cleaner that was no taller than 2" over-all so you will probably need a drop base if you want a larger one. I have since dumped my stock BB hood and now use a 4" tall 14" air cleaner..
