Default got it back

so baby is finally back from the shop. so far so good.
engine runs pretty smooth. i can tell that i need to retune the carb since it was originally set up for a stock cam LS5 and single plane intake.

now that it has the xe274h, AL heads and LS6 intake i am going to wait a few thousand miles and take it to the dyno for an A/F tune.

but i digress, its funny that the only issue i had was the oil pan gasket was pinched during install. that caused the major oil leak it had on the initial break in. if i would have had just taken the time to do some diagnostics then it would have been an easy fix.

still i am happy so far with it, about 50 miles driven so far, average temp is 200. idles smoothly at 800 rpms in gear. wiper door and headlights work. so far no popping or backfiring so i guess thats a good thing.

i just did the first oil change on it after driving it home.
probably too soon but since there is so much new stuff in the engine wearing together i figured better safe than sorry.

since i havent really gotten on it yet all i can comment on is the sound. headers and magnaflow mufflers give it a nice rumbly car body loping idle.

i cant wait to give it a full throttle start and see what happens.

maybe sidepipes are in my future.
