Default Speedometer cable lube

Anybody know a way to lube the speedometer cable on an "80" without pulling half the dash out?

You don’t need to pull half the dash, just the center speedo housing. It is not that hard and we have directions on the site for doing this.

If you have cruise you should be able to disconnect the speedo cable at the cruise transducer and slide out the internal cable. Only use dry lube (graphite) and in barely traceable amounts so you don't gum up the speedo head.
