windshield wipper
I have a 1982 coup. My windshield wippers act up on delay. They will start to wipe but stop half way up the window or will not return to bottom of window.this is only on delay. What is my problem? do I need a new wipper motor or a new switch, or is there something else.

Could be the timer delay relay. It may be the switch. If it works in the low and high mode, at least you still have wipers. The control unit for the wipers is located behind the passenger seat, in the rear compartment area, bolted to the lock pillar, in the area where your jack should be located. You can hear it when you are messing around with the switch. A "clicking" sound.
