There are all kinds of possibilities. Was the system charged recently, was it put into a vacuum first, is the compressor clutch engaging ? Are you getting good air flow across the condenser? Have you had gauges on it and if so what are the pressures?

Ditto: What is the pressure and what is the outside temp where you are.

Are the lines freezing up?

We need more info plz.

Gary,

What all did the dealer do besides charge? Did they replace anything else?

Honestly if you paid them to fix the system you might want to talk with them about this problem.

It sounds like you don't have the pressure gauges to check this, but if you run the car for while open the hood and look at the aluminum lines on the car. Tell us what you see.

Willcox
