Almost got the differential out. But it looks like I do not have the right socket size for the right and left batwing to frame carrier bolts.
Nothing seemed to fit. I tried them all. I think the closest was a 7/8.
Is this bolt standard or metric? Just about every bolt for this job has resulted in all different sizes , metric and standard. Very frustrating. I like how some bolts are metric and the nut its attached to is standard. Anyway, that's another thread..
The largest deep socket metric I had was 20mm and it was too small when I tried to slide it on.
If somebody has an AIM?. Not sure if they list the sizes. I have the service manual, but did not see any sizes listed.
Also these bolts are rusty scary, so I am a little concerned, been spraying them with PB blaster each day. Was going to post a pic, but looks like I am unable to.

OK. Thanks. Hmmm , Not to good with math. Can you translate. All I have is metric and standard sockets, 7/8, 3/4, 13/16, and 18mm, 19mm, 20mm.

Well my 13/16 would not fit... I actually had to use a 21mm box end wrench and back it up with a crescent wrench. So this problem is solved. I have loosened them now and will be ready to pull the rear end it out. As soon as I find a socket to fit those weird bolts on the drive shaft straps to the trans.....
