Who knows where to buy that stuff.. I've looked everywhere and can't find it (in the netherlands) so I'm trying to get it from an online source or at least somewhere in the US. The distr. I foundsold it in 32gal. barrels..a little much [;)]
It's Glyptal with an 'a'. Basically, red electric motor winding enamel that has found favor in painting engine castings to prevent the release of remnant sand.
Pretty sure it is Glyptol. My local GE supplier stocks it in quart cans for under $20 USD ... also 12 ounce aerosol for about same price. I talked with them about it just last week. If you can't find it any nearer to you ... here's my supplier's contact info.

Also look here:http://www.autoblueprint.com/glyptal.shtml It says it in the link and in the text. I think it's a common mistake that people call it glyptol but it's defenately glyptal.
