1978 Gearbox

what would be a good upgrade for a 1978 C3 ,it is now fitted with a TH 350 outo box ,would an 700 R4 fit without modifications,what is the best torque converter to use

A 700 r4 would require a new crossmember though I believe a 200r4 is a direct swap for your th350 and arguably as good or better than the 700r4.

Best torque convertor cannot be answered without more information such as the motor you are attaching it to, assuming its not stock. if its stock then run a stock convertor.
