80 Window gear regulator
So im trying to fix the mess that is my passenger side window. The window doesnt go up all the way due to (hopefully) a bad gear and it doesnt go down at all due to (again hopefully) a bad connection which I am going to fix. I drilled out the rivets for the gear regulator but I'm not entirely sure how to pull the regulator out.. should I unbolt the window from everything and pull the whole unit out with rails included or is there an easier way. My roommate is convinced that the inner door panel can come off and the whole assembly can be removed but its a Corvette... so im not holding my breath... any ideas?
