replacing on 74 coupe 350. I believe some of these wires don't even belong in the area. I have distinguished the ground and the pos cable. Now they also had two small wires to the "s" post. One looks like a fusible link. Does anyone have a good pic of the correct wiring. This car definitely needs some wiring help
Thanks

Starter wiring.
Top large terminal= 12 volt from battery positive and 12 gauge red.
The small "S" terminal (closest to the block)=12 gauge purple.
Small "R" terminal (outboard side)=small yellow.
Black wire with big terminal goes to starter bolt.
PG.
I did this from a picture someone took after Bubba had "fixed" his starter. All the wires are there, just needed to move one. 74, there's a plug just aft and to the right of the distributor that is a rectangle with 6 cavities. Starter Extension Harness in the catalogs. The purple start wire, both fuse links, start bypass, and a ground all run thru it.
Thanks guys. Following your help actually helped me fix another bubba-ism. When I correctly identified the ground that needed to go to the started bolt, low and behold the wipers and a/c fan worked. Before they only worked with the hood or door open. Thanks again guys.
