I am going to try and soda blast my vette but was wondering if anyone knows of a good blaster to use? I have a friend that has one from Eastwood but he says that it is garbage. Any suggestions?
I don't know about Soda Blasting, but here is the one I have used for a year and a half.
I have sandblasted all of the susp parts, brke parts, A-Frames, etc. I got this from Harbor Freight as a gift and thought great another piece of junk. To my suprise, I have used it for many hours and it has worked great. I think that it cost less than $100.00. Whatever you get, make sure that you have a big enough compressor. They go through a lot of air.
Also, I live in Florida, humidity is a problem to deal with. Moisture will clog up any blaster.
it is also a question of media.... soda costs alot and you willl struggle to reuse any of it and of couse as in all media blasting.. the stuff gets everywhere...
