Inadequate carb pump shot. Look in and open it up

you shd see a healthy squirt. Or maybe the fuel pump is barely working and the float bowls can't fill quickly enough to avoid going lean.

A car that was sitting for so long needs the valve springs checked, I had to replace mine on my car, after sitting so long they get weak.
