hi to everybody, on my vette (70 ls5) i have a big block ls-7 crate engine (82) (suffix XCH) with heads 6272990 and holley 800 DB..
now i'm running with an ls6 (71) intake, but do you think that if i go with an performer rpm the car has benefit? (i have l88 hood)..
thanks
Yes, the Performer RPM or Air Gap would help a lot. Even an old Holley Strip Dominator single plane will run well. Does it have the hydraulic or solid cam in it? Either one will benefit from the air gap.
ok thanks, do you know the differece of height between the ls6 intake and performer rpm and air gap?
the ls-7 engine has the meccanic lifters http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j2.../LS-7STATS.jpg
yes i have the headers hooker, with the manual close ratio and 3,70..
the compression now is 10,5:1, the car is very streetable..
