plz help me.....
my 82 has not ran in like 2 and half years, and ran just recently, gave it a full tank of shell v power with sea foam and injector cleaner, it pured like a kitten, well today i took a girl out in it and tried to impress her, as i slightly tapped the gas it started making a popping noise... i didnt get on it hard but everytime i tapped it slightly it would pop and start to die. what is the issue, could i be out of gas, the gauge says half and i think its right because i have only driven maybe 50 miles on this full tank. could it be timing? could it be spark? im really worried ive done alot of work to get it running after 2 years of sitting, i really dont want to tear it apart again! what do you guys think?
