I found that E85 is only 15% Gasoline and the rest
is Ethanol ........ That's got to be Wimpy fuel ??!!!!
Isn't this the other way around ? I can't believe that E85 is 85 percent alcohol. You would need much larger jets or injectors - or change the timing on the injectors to stay open longer. Alcohol doesn't have the BTUs it does however have the detonation resistance properties , and the engine runs cooler.

The main drawback is that you lose 20-30% of your gas mileage unless you modify your engine to take advantage of the high octane. Ethanol is a scam for the benefit of corn farmers. It's just that simple. Around here E85 had it's day in the sun a couple of years ago. Since then the usage has dropped considerably and the number of pumps dispensing it has also gone down. Seems the more people find out about it in the real world the less they like it.

I don't get what you are hoping for and why? You don't want the U.S. to become more oil independent because you think the **** is gonna hurt your C3. I would think you should start in your own country if you have some hidden agenda. Maybe write a letter to the Queen?

Let me explain myself. I chatted with somebody on the net back when I did this and they told me some particular drill bit size to drill the jet out to. No change in the needle. And it worked. I don't remember the size though. That was a number of years ago. If I were to do it again I would use my wideband O2 sensor and do some experimenting.-Justin
