Default polly body mount install.

Has anybody installed them? there are no directions that come along with them, and i am just guessing as to how to install them? and pictures on which way the tapered end goes and the washers would be great. By looks of things, you need to install them all on the body first?squeeze them together over the sleeve?

Well after looking out in the garage again, i think they should go like this? my frame is still at the sand blasters so will double check when i get it back.

Mount number one . obviously with the frame inbetween the 2 mounts.

Then 2&3 2 behind the kick panel and 3 in front of the rear tire. will be both the same.

And #4 the extreme rear will be the same as #1 almost.

If anybody sees anything wrong here please let me know? Once i get this done i think i will send the vendors instructions so the next poor A$$hole doesnt have to struggle without any help.

Ok so now i have seen 2 ways to do this? so the hockey puck mounts go between the frame and the body? not the tapered ones? I wonder if i can find the manufacturer to find out what the intent was here for these mounts? Thanks for the reply i do appreciate it.

only 1 good picture of the new mounts in this write up, and it shows the opposite of what you did.

The hockey pucks will be the ones to hold the load so they need to be in between the rocker channels and the frame. The tapered ones hold the bolts in place on the brass tube, as the bolts are tightened the bushings will compress together some.

For those that need this info here is the correct procedure i found.

Mounts 1 and 4 the Hockey puck mount goes in between the body and the frame with the tapered mount under it.

Mounts 2 and 3, the hockey puck mount goes between the body and the frame. The tapered mount goes in the kick panel and in the wheel well opening with the tapered end down.

This is for the polly mounts, the 4072 is the hockey puck and the 7019 is the tapered bushing.

The large Diammeter, shorter height, goes in-between the body and the frame.
On all mounting points. 69VETT

Mine were much worse so i cut out the rocker channels and welded in repair channels. You might get away with just the inserts.
