'81 guages gone crazy! WTH????

'81 guages gone crazy! WTH????
My voltage gauge shows nada, and the battery light is on, but everything is okay. I've checked the battery for charge and it is still holding it's on 3 weeks later. Also the tachometer is gone nuts! (all in the same day) When idling it reads 5K and of course, pegs out when you are driving. None of these gauges are correct and they went nuts on the same day .... Any ideas?
