I have the cheap summit ones. The fit is outstanding, the welds look just fine and the flanges, well, they're as good as almost anyone else's. Other than replacing the collector flanges with much thicker ones, I'm very happy with mine. Hooker are probably better but often need some "adjustments" to clear everything.

The finish doesn't last long at all, so if you're thinking of a coated set I don't have any wisdom to offer. I wish these were stilll offered with ceramic coating as an option.

No matter what brand you decide to go with...get ceramic coated or the quick rusting will defeat your purpose of the "show" part of street and show.

I recommend the dynomax cerama-coats. Equal length long tubes. I installed these on my 73 two years back and never looked back. ~3k miles and a cam break in they still look new!

Here is a good view of the right side.

How do the dyno max fit with the auto transmission shift linkage? I have Headman, and they run into the linkage. I need a new set .

I've had Dynomax ceramic coated full length for a few years. Excellent fit (although I can't speak for the AT part). They still look great and perform even better.

That is very funny and a great point! If you want to keep a stock type exhaust hook up, don't mind the extra cost, and will fit EXACTLY like the stock exhaust manifolds, you may want to consider McJacks Shorty headers (not block huggers) like I use. They are expensive, though!

The Dynomax Corvette SB Cerama-Coat headers fit & flow great. I have been rec. them & many have them now.
Both SB Hooker Super Comps & Dynomax Cerama-Coat Headers are excellent for performance.

Do any or all of these header flanges match the port configuration of the heads?
