1979 corvette replaced a/c lines. pump, converted t0 134 gas.put in new relay last yr. blower works no cold air, any suggestions? clutches dont seem to be working pump is less than two years old and worked fine before. Need help, its hot, corvettes of carlise just around the corner need air for the trip. SUGGESTIONS APPRECIATED THANKS!!!! tried putting in more freon guage resd full still wont engage clutch any other suggestions??

If you don't run the a/c compressor once in a while during the year and get some oil to the seals, there's a good chance that the gas leaked out due to dry seals which would cause the a/c clutch not to engauge. It may just need to be recharged.
If the refrigerant is too low in the system this switch will prevent the compressor from running.
This is most likely why it doesn't turn on. The pressure can be checked w/ system off.
I am running R-12 & the expected pressure would be around 100 psi off.
W/ key & A/C on, power to the compressor can be checked.
