Of course i made my own and made them in 316 stainless steel.
On the end where cap would be I welded in a 1in. stainless coupling.
Take 1in. pipe plug and weld a piece of 3/8in.round stock to it to form
a T-handle Now you can reach up inside and uncap those side pipes.
That is a cool idea. It's a PITA pulling those side tubes. I like the idea of pulling the cap w/o removing. Thanks for sharing . . . pics would be appreciated.
I will e mail you pics so you can post them .Also pics of front x member
and radiator support that I made from 6061T6 alum. will send in the am.
thank you.
I have been experimenting with boat exhaust for quite some time.
Just came up with an all 316 stainless 4in.riser that should out last us all. made four of them for less than 200.00 in material .
e.mail me for pics i,ll be glad to help you c.dem15@yahoo.com
yes I made it all from stainless and the coupling and plug are also
316 stainless use neversieze with a nickle base on threads. also aply
it to the slip joint on your side pipes.
The coupling and plugs are available from a place here in Va. Beach Va.
called Tidewater valve & fitting Inc. 757 3403181 less than 10 bucks .By the way I made an era on the initial thread .The coupling was
1 1/2in. npt. it fit nice inside the tubing which was 1 3/4in. od.
If you don,t like the noise and power you can tune it down with reducers
Have fun one-72
