I am in the early stages of looking for a crate engine to replace the 350 in my 72 that gave up. The past forum threads have been very helpful. Anyone use - ATK out of CA? (Called Gearhead also) They have a 350 ci with 325 hp for $2124.00 long block and a turnkey one complete with carb, fuel pump, dist etc for $3079.00 that is dyno tested and tuned. Both come with a 2 year/unlimited miliage warranty. Link is below and thanks, Paul in Ohio
in july I bought a replacement motor for my jeep. looked brand new. runs great, shipped it in 3 days. took 10 days after they picked up my core to get my deposit back. I would buy another from them.
Check out Summit Racing.
Their prices are very good.
If your talking about the Blueprint Crate the internals are junk as are most low $ crate engines. If I was going for a budget crate GMPP would be my choice. Still think a local builder is a better option and even though they have gotten some bad press recently on here I still think the forged T&L build is tough to beat for the $.
