Seat problem

Does anybody know how to set the seatbacks on my '81 Corvette so that they don't lean backwards? (like you're reclining!)

I have an 81 and there is no mechanism I am aware of to adjust the incline of the seats. There is a simple hinge between the seat top and bottom. The person I bought mine from told me that for his wife to drive it he used a piece of styrofoam packing material behind the seat to prop it up

So in all sincerity, you're able to drive it basically semi-lying down?
