I am swapping over my manual brakes over to power brakes on my 71 C3.
I am in the middle of a body off restoration. Does any one have a recommendation for a chrome booster and reservoir. What size brake lines should I install? I plan on going back with stainless lines. As you may guess I am not keeping the car original. I plan on driving and enjoying it.
Since you're not after originality, then it's best to consider a hydroboost instead of the stock vacuum booster, I did that swap in my '71 and now I can say it has the best brake response of any care I've ever driven.
I'll second the hydroboost. Way better than the vacuum system. It sucks(pun intended). The hydroboost is smaller and more efficient than the vacuum cannister.
