Default Advice on front clip installation

My front end from ecklers arrived today for my 69. I did some preleminary fitting and it looks like it will take some work to get it to line up correctly. I think the hardest part will be trying to wrestle that big thing around when I have the epoxy on it. I was wondering what kind of epoxy you guys use to bond this unit on. The instructions that came with it seem thurough, but If anyone has some pointers I would love to hear them now. I'm sure It'l be a struggle for me.

Test fit it with some playdough on the seams where it bonds on to verify that you won't have any unusually large gaps in the seam where bonding adhesive will be real thick. Get your clamps and fixtures ready to hold the front end on so that you can use a nylon ratcheting strap around the fenders to pull it together on the body. I would stick with an epoxy bonding adhesive, although it's not entirely necessary since it's glass to glass. I just like working with the epoxy stuff better. Watch your door gaps and have your hood ready to drop in where it goes so that you can see that you don't need to angle up or down the front of either fender to get the bulges in the fenders to line up with the hood. It's been a few years since I did one but that's a few of the things that I remember.

and don't forget to mount the vac tank on the inner fender well before you glue down your clip. There is no chance to get the vac tank in with installed engine, exhaust etc (at least on a BB).

I'm afraid this will be harder then I first thought. It looks like I need the cowl plenum extension panel for the right side. It is just a little thing and they want $90 for it from Ecklers. I also need the rear fender to cowl peices and they are $80 each. Just when I thought I was ready to start fitting my front clip, I was WRONG!
