Paging David Sagers (Dsagers)!
I am not getting replies to my emails and I tried an Instant Message here but no luck. So, I'll try it like this. Maybe there's something wrong w/ the email server... :(
So, have you shipped the intercoolers yet? I saw you deducted the money from my paypal account so you did get that. :D
Please let me know
Thanks,

"This is an automated response from DLSVN2867@Hotmail.com
Because of the unique opportunity, I have volunteered my services to the
2002 Winter Olympics. During this time I will not be able to respond to my
e-mail messages very quickly. But I will get to your message and answer as
soon as I can.
Thanks
David"
So I guess we're not gonna hear from him for a little while.
I did have to re-email to him, his email was overloaded by someone sending him pictures and he had lost my email...he thanked me for re-checking up with him and sent out the stall conv. asap. :yesnod:
But as I said that was before he was pulled away by those "stars on ice"
I think all will be well when he gets back...sucks it bogs down your project Twinnie.... makes ya want to :smash: something I bet ...

I too have done a bit of business with David, he seemed to be an honest person you might consider giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I'm posting to this thread so that everyone knows what happened. Marck choose to make this public and that's great, because if someone on the board is stealing, I'll be one of the first in line to encourage disclosure of any crooks.
As posted above I was a volunteer for the Olympics, had a lot of fun and made friends that will enrich my life for years.
As for Marck's intercoolers, they were shipped, although later than I had promised. Here's what happened. Marck lives in the Netherlands, so shipping is more complicated and expensive than domestic US shipping. Marck estimated that shipping would be in the $50.00 range based on other parts he has shipped. My agreement was that I would cover anything that exceeded the $50.00 shipping as I didn’t want to hold up his intercoolers for a small difference in shipping.
I boxed the intercoolers and my wife took them to the local UPS counter, they wanted $232.00!!
So she went to the post office, the box exceeded max size to send over seas. So, in between Olympic activities, I re-packed them into two smaller boxes. The post office accepted them, but at a total of some $94.00 including insurance.
To Marck, I again offer my sincere apologies, the delay was my fault and due to my choice to volunteer. Good luck on your project.
The thing that had me worried was the recent posts about some members here being scammed and with me living in the Netherlands getting my stuff or money back will be a real trouble!
Thanks again,
Marck
I got the intercoolers in perfect condition. David was so nice to have the kids make a "Happy Birthday" drawing. I asked for a little note like that to fool the customs (tax!) and they bought it again, it was VERY nicely done w/ that brilliant drawing his kids made :D
Also thanks for the olympic pin :D I really appreciate it.
Apart from the little delay it went flawless! I am VERY happy w/ the intercoolers!
Again, thanks a bunch David!
Marck
