I didnt pay enough attention when i took some things off the car. Any idea what this shield is and where does it go? 1980 Vette

I've seen it before but can't place it. Seems like it was back further protecting something that was put on after 80.

That looks like the sheild on the bottom next to the starter cable comming next to the gas tank. I pulled mine off my 80 model to repaint it. I had my left rear tire off at the time. Hope that helps.

Ok that makes sense, i know it was from the rear of the car. Do you have a picture of it on your car?
