Help finding and question.

I have a 78 corvette. Im wondering if there is a spring for the ash tray door and could someone link it to me? Also the car is an auto so when I put it into drive the car like drops. Is that unusual?

There is a spring and I might be able to find it in the GM book but I would guess its discontinued. Willcox might have an answer for you. The drop is normal if its not too bad.

The tune up specifications will list the normal curb idle with the car in drive. Check yours. Ballpark would be 600 or 650.

In park, the idle will go up a little (50 or 100 rpm), not a lot. Ditto with AC; the idle could increase a little with the AC on.
