I've seen a few threads of guys complaining about throw out bearings making a noise and changing them out. My clutch/throw out bearing is about 4 years and 7000 miles and is making a noise occasionally especially after a while in slow moving traffic. Is this a common problem in C3's then?
Mine makes a noise. So I am looking into changing out the whole clutch, along with a new non magnetic pilot bushing (per grandmastercorvette's suggestion).
My problem is I don't know which clutch kit to order for my '70 LT-1. [10.5" vs 11", 10spline vs 26spline] I guess I need to go under the car and see which transmission it has first.
Good luck with yours, by the way which '70 do you have?
