I just took apart my rear brake hoses and lines and can't seem to find where the "brake hose copper washer" goes. I see this washer listed in all the catalogs - but looking at my 1968 AIM (Page UPC5-B2) I don't see it referenced at all. I also could not find it on dissassembly.
Can someone tell me very specificly what to do with it?
Also how many per car is needed - 2 or 4 ?
Between the flexible brake hose and caliper, it acts as a seal...slip it over the threads on the hose, and screw into the caliper, tighten.....and your done......4 per car...one per caliper

Wrong. 2 per car. Just between the front flex hoses and front calipers. Rear has a solid line to the caliper and does not use a washer.
