Check size of front & rear sway bars to see what you have as it's not a good idea to randomly change things- so far it sounds like a rear bar was added to std. sus.

Optional FE-7 has stiffer springs, a larger front sway bar & adds rear bar & HD shocks.

On a 78/79 F-41/Gymkhana Sport suspension car the front bar should be 1 1/8 in and the rear OEM bar is a small 7/16th inch diameter. Also, for the rear bar the OEM bar end links should be different than the front bar end links, otherwise it probably has an aftermarket rear bar. The stock sport suspension rear spring is 7 leafs which means that your spring is a base suspenison rear spring if it is 9 leafs. Hope that this helps! The front springs for a base car are 460 lbs/in coils and the F-41 coil springs are 550 Lb/in.
