AM/FM CB Antenna issue

AM/FM CB Antenna issue
My 81 has the orginal radio that was reconditioned two years ago. It is the AM/FM Cassette with CB. The coil on the antenna for the CB has cracked and causing problems with the CB. I have been unable to find a replacement - Any ideas?

Mine has the same problem. I tried looking for a modern power am/fm/cb antenna to use as a replacement but haven't had much luck. The radio had also been changed to an aftermarket by the previous owner. Can you tell me who reconditioned your radio and if there are any still available? Thanks...

I sent my Radio to Ecklers two years ago. I am not sure if they still have the Radio Recondition Service or not. I believe they sent the radio to someplace in FL. They did a great job. Mine had most of the Digits burned out looked really ruff. It came back with a new display, cleaned up and everything works just great. Check either on their Website or in the catalog.
