Is header wrapping worth it?

probably the best combo is stainless steel headers (very damn expensive) with header wrap.
the header wrap definitely protects the spark plus wires & boots, and also reduces radiated heat to fuel lines, such as underhood brake components and steering U-joint boots, for instance.
it also reduces heat radiated to foot wells if you extend the wrap down to the collector area. I've also wrapped the tail pipes by the transmission to protect the rubber boot for the shifter cable (auto trans) and reduce foot well temps. my feet used to get TOASTED.
