Okay, I should probably know this (or the install instructions should say or show a diagram), but...
These rockers have a fulcrum pivot insert that is radiused and has oiling grooves in it on one side and a flat surface on the other. The instructions say to make sure the radiused side is down against the rocker and the flat side up...this makes perfect, practical sense and is mostly obvious.
What is not obvious - I guess - is which side of the (lock)nut goes "down" against the flat side of the pivot insert, the flat side or the conical side.
Now my guess is the flat side down (to engage the flat side of the insert) and the conical side up, but the instructions don't say.
I'm guessing there are a lot of you out there that know which is correct and I would appreciate your thoughts?! Tried to call COMP at approx 3:45p CST (they're supposed to be open on Sat until 4p CST, but no answer...hummm)
