mini starter
Trying to get starter line up.I can get starter line up and paper clip space between teeth with the front bolt tight. When I tighten back bolt it pulls starter into flywheel. Tried shims from 1-5 same issue .
The bolts came with starter.

Check the surge function, many threads on this already.
Use more shims and it will be OK.
Had the same issue. The supplied shims where not enough.
Watch the grip length of the bolt. Using 2 or 3 more shims should be OK for them.
