exhaust system question
I have a 77 L82 and need to replace exhaust system and was thinking of headers and going out the back. My question is would that help my hp and how much. And I really don't want it real loud. I also don't know what mufflers to go with. Any help would be appreciated. vince

Headers and a nice free flowing exhaust will help with TQ and HP. But dont expect to see huge gains from that alone. You will see bigger gains from a top end package, which will reguire a free flowing exhaust. so you need to get a plan and decide what you want and where your going to end up?
I am just coming off a 1006 468 BBC in my 77 camaro and stepping down to 360 HP 350 so get a plan and stick to it or it will get out of hand fast.SBC for the vette.

thanks for the suggestions but should i go headers into one back out to two and two mufflers or two seperate all the way because the cat was removed before i bought the car and they don't do emitions testing where i live. It's a stock 350 L82 and I would like to get the best performance possible. thanks Vince
