76 oil pressure sending unit
I swapped out the motor in my 1976 corvette and put in a 350 from 1972. The original location of the oil pressure sending unit was by the oil filter. The block installed does not have a fitting for the unit. There is a spot by the distributor. My question is is ther a sending unit other than a 76 I can use. The 76 sending unit is big and wouldn't look right. Any suggestions

An oil pressure sending unit is larger than a pressure switch for a light.
You can put it near the dist. w/ a 90 degree fitting pointing towards firewall & it will look fine.

That's what I did on mine too. Looks fine to me. I polished it, but it's dull again so I thik I'll paint this go round . . .

I put the sender on the top block 1/8NPT fitting on a 72 project Vette I did a few years back when I wanted to keep the cherry 72 center guage stack for my car (I had a 76 gauage stack around.)
