i was bleeding my rear brakes last night and installing the 10" lowering bolts. so the rear sway bar was disconected and the rear spring was unbolted. i could pull up on the bottom of the rotor and push in on the top of the rotor and get about a 1/4 inch of movement. like the trailing arm would twist alittle. is this normal play. remeber no spring or sway bar attached. thanks

Wouldn't that be the same movement that occurs when you adjust the camber buy moving the strut rods?
it is close betweeen the b olt and tire but it was making that noise with the 8 inch bolt.i also have not seen any rub marks on the tire. using a bfg 255 60 tire.

is that the steel rod that goes from the trailing arm to the center chunk? those rubber bushings look cracked and old. so that rod is surposed to keep the trailering arm from twisting. looks like poly bushings will have to be ordered. how would you check the mounting bushings for the trailering arms?
