fiberglass dash for 3rd gen

Hello
I am asking for a fellow I know who has a 3rd gen drag car and is looking for a fiberglass dash
Does anyone know if one is available, or any info that may be helpful in finding a supplier that deals with this?

Do not know of any...but if the old dash is still in place...he can make a splash mold and make one himself. Depending if he wants to or not. I can help in this...by giving instructions on how to accomplish it. What year. I have an old dash out of a 78-82.
I also have some decent dash panels for the 69-77...along with the top dash pad...I think.

Personally I think he should, but I am unsure what he wants to do

A fiberglass dash could wind up heavier than stock.
The 68-77 dash is very light & 77 has a plastic center gauge cluster.
78-82 has a plastic center gauge cluster.

You'll have to google it but they are out there, all of them are universal applications though.

I actually had a vibrant customs dash before and almost installed it in a 88 s10 blazer but didn't like the rounded look in a square vehicle so I went with a stock 82 s10 dash and covered it in tweed. Here are some pics of it. BTW it was very light weight.
