Complexity in changing valve size?
I'm looking for 1970 LT-1 heads and can find correct date and casting heads but the valve sizes are all 1.94/1.50. I believe I need to find heads with 2.02/1.60 valves. So why couldn't I just by the 1.94/1.50's and have a machine shop install 2.02/1.60 valves? Is it complicated? Any reason I shouldn't do this?

This is fairly easy for a good machine shop. You can't just grind the seats bigger and install the valves. There is some unshrouding and bowl work to do, pressed in studs need to be removed and screw in with guide plates installed also. Call Tim @ Performance Motorsports in Sandwich. He can fix them up.
