I was replacing the Tachometer's circuit board and was in the process of checking the terminals in the dash. All 3 prongs worked. There was a ground, battery, and voltage from the Dizzy. My volt gauge was working fine as well.
During my inspection, I accidently shorted the circuit. No sparks, smoke, etc. but the volt gauge went to zero - the GEN light came on - I lost voltage from the battery prong - and I get the buzzer when I turn on the headlights.
Did i fry the volt gauge and/or one of those circuit boards?
