Shield under Driver Seat on Frame

Hello everyone, their is a metal shield on my frame, directly under my drivers side. Last time I drove my vette, one fastener came loose causing it to hang low, sure enough, I caught it on a bump and it is half ripped off. The sparks where neat but are getting old. I can't find this part in any of my catalogs. It looks like a simple part, does anyone know the size/shape. Is this something I could just cut out of metal, paint and reinstall?

They are just a flat sheet of steel. I just made up two new ones out of aluminum. Going to polish them out for the hell of it.

999, mind is bend-over 180 degrees on itself, so I have nothing to go by. Is it as simple as measuring the distance between the mounting holes and finding a piece of steel/aluminum large enough?
