79 Big Block swap
I'm a rookie to the Corvette Forum and this is my first post, so here it goes. I just bought a 1979 L48 PROJECT. Body, frame, and interior are excellent. I was concidering a big block 4 speed conversion. I ran across a late model 454 and an older M21 trans, bell housing and shifter. I have a clutch/brake pedal assembly from a 68, complete with z bar and linkage. Has any one done this conversion? What long poles will I have?
