Default Horn Parts Question

I am trying to rebuild the upper parts in my horn. I have a c3 column and believe it to be a 75. when I look to order parts or Horn contact kit ecklers has a 69-74 and wilcox has a 75 to 82. I have looked at Jims pics and mine has the metal hub he noted on the 69-75.
So which kit is correct?

The tilt & telescoping upper horn contact (#3) is the same (GM #3949103) for the model years 1969-1982 with one exception the Vega steering wheel in 1976.

The spacer (#8) is a bit confusing. It is (GM # 3952781) from 1969 through 1974. The 1975 AIM was revised changing the spacer to GM #348325 There was not a spacer required in 1976. The GM #348325 was again used from 1977 through 1982. The following drawing should read 1969 through 1974 since the spacer changed in 1975.

I do not have any information on the two different spacers. But since none of the other parts sorrounding the spacer changed in 1975, I suspect that maybe the spacer pads got just a bit longer in 1975 and maybe allowed the assembly plant to use less shims (#4) to get the horn cap aligned correctly.

what is a sure way to tell if you have 76. I'm trying to determine which shim(s) and or spacers to buy.
thanks
